 Simple Present Tense  using this type of  "TO BE 1"  and  "VERB 1"

TO BE 1  consists of:  am, is, are  (for more information, see the following table)

NOTE

DO  and  DOES  use the interrogative sentence.

DO NOT (DO NOT)  and  DOES NOT (DOES NOT)  used in negative sentences.

1 TO BE (am, is, are)  used when a sentence no verb element ( NON VERB )

Sentence expressing  Simple Present Tense  using verbs ( VERB )

Example:

IMPORTANT:

Only in positive sentences, for the subject  "He, She, It" , the use of the verb ( VERB ) should end with " s / es . "  Additions  "s / es"  at the base verb ( inifinitive ) are as follows:

In general, the verb is directly coupled with the suffix "- s ", for example:

Work - Works

Write - Writes

Speak - Speaks

Verb that ends in the letters " ch, o, s, sh, x "  plus the suffix "- es ", for example:

Pass - Passes

Finish - Finishes

Teach - Teaches

Go - Goes

Fix - Fixes

Verbs that end with the letter "- y "  and  begins with a consonant ,  the suffix "- y " changed to "- i "then added" - es ", for example:

Study - Studies

Carry - Carries

Cry - Cries

Whereas the verb ending with the letter "- y "  that begins  with a vowel, simply added to the suffix "- s "only, for example:

Buy - Buys

Play - Plays

Say - Says

If the verb begins with the letter an auxiliary verb ( Capital Auxiliaries ), then do not get the extra " s / es ", for example:

He  Will  work

She  Can  open

He  Must  close

Simple Present Tense function on verbal sentence

Declare an act which becomes a habit or performed at certain times ( Habitual Action ), for example:

We  study  hard everyday.

She  visits  the library twice a month.

Expresses a general truth or fact, or a truth that is assumed to occur continuously mnerus ( The General Truth ), for example:

A year  has  twelve months.

The sun  rises  in the East.

Simple Present Tense functions on nominal sentence

To declare a state of ongoing current or now or acts that constitute a habit, for example:

I  am  a teacher.

They  are  here now.

To express general truths, but in nominal sentences are not used description of time, for example:

Ice  is  cold.

Fire  is  hot.

NOTE

On the use of the Present Progressive Tense verb used should end with-ing / (Verb + ing).
